Reuters Reports Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) New Studies Support Hypnotherapy
Reuters News Agency reports on new studies suggesting that cases of treatment resistant Irritiable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) have responded very well to quality hypnotherapy. “In one study, which included 90 patients, 38 percent of hypnosis patients were treatment “responders” after 3 months — meaning their symptom scores had dropped by at least 25 percent. That compared with 11 percent of patients in the control group, who only received advice on diet and relaxation techniques. This study shows that hypnosis can work in real life, in the community setting, and not only the specialized research setting,”

Daily Mail – Phobia Cure
“Mother overcomes fear of stairs after 38 years” using NLP and Hypnotherapy, has generated a lot of press in both the UK and USA. Here is the Daily Mail`s story. Phobia are probably the most “media” friendly stories about hypnotherapy and NLP. Phobia cures are generally swift and effective and usually combine both time line and the NLP Fact Phobia Cure that is also called the Rewind. The jouralist also gets to use an obscure word to describe the phobia and the lengths people will go to avoid their trigger. Fear of stairs is apparently called “bathmophobia.”
